Invisalign Review – Retainer 5/26 “Going Strong!”

I just left my dentist’s office and I feel great! Read my following Invisalign Review

My dentist assured me that everything was moving properly and that things are coming into place the way we want them to. He showed me a more in depth animation of my teeth moving and where they are right now. Basically it looked like that my teeth would be all moving outward until about the 19th tray. At the 19th tray my teeth will start to be pushed back in. At this current point, my teeth need to create room, turn the right way and overall… straighten out before they are pushed back in. Everything’s going great and my Invisalign Review has been positive!

I got my second set of 4 Invisalign Retainers

Over these next four aligners, my teeth will continue to push out and straighten. Keep checking back to checkup on my progress. I know it doesn’t look like much of a change but I gotta tell you I can feel a bit of a change in them. They just feel different and better overall.

Slight pressure from trays on my teeth

I got my 5th tray put on my teeth today and it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. I feel slight pressure but that’s it. No big deal.

Note: It’s hard to keep writing these posts in my Invisalign Blog because my Invisalign Review I can tell might be similar every post. I mean I don’t see how much can change during this experience. Oh well, keep reading and following

Invisalign Review – Retainer 4/26 “Moving Along”

I just put in my 4th Invisalign Retainer and things are going pretty good

What a scare last week.. Cavities?! That’s the last time I have friends with no dental background double-check my teeth for me, ha! The dark spot turned out to be nothing, so thats good. My Invisalign Review could of “gone south” real fast!…

Invisalign Retainer No. 4 and

This one wasn’t bad at all in terms of the initial pressure you experience when you first put the Invisalign Retainers teeth. I gotta admit though that lately I havent been wearing them the full 22 or 23 hours a day. I’ve had a few functions and dinners where I had removed them for an extended amount of time and placed them in a napkin in my pocket… I know.. bad!

So here’s what my teeth look like at the end of Invisalign Retainer No. 3 and going into Invisalign Retainer No. 4

Invisalign Review – Top 5 Invisalign Questions I Have

I’ve got a couple questions to ask people who have already had and finished their Invisalign Treatment…

1. How soon did you notice progress or your teeth actually move?

2. Did anyone actually find that it was easier to get cavitites while having the Invisalign procedure done?

3. How much does it cost to get a replacement retainer? Incase you loose your current one?

4. Did your treatment end up lasting longer than the expected amount of time

5. Did you try Invisalign and it just didn’t work? (Teeth didn’t move)

I was looking at the pictures from my overall Invisalign Review (the first week till now) and I really don’t see any difference… It’s only the 4th retainer and there’s 22 left to go but still… what have my teeth been doing for almost two months? The retainers give me pressure at first but the the pressure subsides after a few days.. does this mean that the retainers are moving my teeth? Or that my teeth are stretching out the retainers?
